Don't self medicate yourself. Apply for emergency Medicaid. That can transition to straight Medicaid. If you are working look up "Medicaid Buy in For Working People with Disabilities" If you are not working you could recieve Public Assistance and Foodstamps as well. If you are unable to work now because of your disability apply for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSDI and SSI). A good resource for advocacy is your local independent living center. This has a list of all the independent living centers in the United States. There's one in every county. Find the one nearest to you and give them a call.
