Dear JD, not all women are concerned with sexual intercourse.
Mostly women want to feel comfort. A warm embrace. Plenty of kisses. Neck shoulder and below. Hours of kissing.
The meds you take do effect libido. When it comes time to have a family, you'll be ok. These meds should not affect your erection or your ability to ejactulate.
I'm sure your girlfriend understands your emotional problems She loves you and wants to get married.
At your next Pdoc appt, discuss your concerns. Wellbutrin is a good med that has no sexual side effects. Maxy
Not to be contrarian, but women do like sex if you've met the right woman. And some meds do affect the ability to get an erection. But the effects differ by the person, so you can't predict how any given person will react. But if you're on the meds now, how do you feel about sex? Do you desire it? That's libido. Performance is something else, and the most common sexual problem is the inability to reach orgasm or it takes a long time to do so. That doesn't affect the woman, it affects you. So if you're desire is strong now your libido hasn't been affected. But the only way to know about performance is to do it. Now, you say you're a virgin, and I'm assuming this is for cultural or religious reasons. Don't be offended anyone, but does this include masturbation? Because if you can do that you can have sex with a woman.
