Are these flat warts?

I have had these warts mainly on the backs of my hands for going on 6-7 years.  They have definitely grown more numerous (at a fairly slow rate) over the years.  During the summer they really stand out due to tanning from sun exposure.  The characteristics of flat warts seem to fit my condition.  Could someone take a look at the attached photo and give me their opinion?

Thanks,

MG

Hi Gusmyster,
I have the exact same things on my hands ;-( went to a dr only to have him dismiss them as they are probably caused by exposure to the sun. Big help at $100 bucks a visit! Not satisfied with the answer to my question. There has got to be some action that we can take to eliminate these things(whatever they are)
Let me know if you learned anything.
Thanks

Hi

The way it looks this may be flat warts, skin tags or common warts. Flat warts and common warts may be the same however, it is important to note that HPV infections may actually involve several subtypes of this virus. Different type of HPV viruses actually infect various areas of the bodes with a particular preference to certain areas. Cryotherapy and electrocautery may be necessary to have these removed. It may however lead to scarring. If these are warts then they need to be treated as these may be readily transmitted to other parts of the body.
