Callus on pinky for years

Since a young child around 8 there has been a bump on my pinky finger that has grown overtime and is really hard. It is similar to writers bump but it's not on the side its like directly on top of my pinky knuckle. I also have two smaller similar bumps on my ring finger and middle finger as well on the knuckle. It is  really embarrassing and annoying when people ask what it is and it has made me a bit insecure how can I get rid of this bump.. I've tried cutting it off soaking it but nothing seems to work.. When I do that it  gets really soft and red but it hurts whenever I try to then cut it off soft...  It always comes back.  I've spoken to my doctor about this over the years but she doesn't know what it is either. She told me it may be how I write I've changed my writing style even wear gloves when writing so my finger would not rub.  I really want this gone asap its hard for me to take pictures because I don't want people to see these bumps on my fingers...any advise would help please...

Have you gotten a second opinion from another doctor? I would think that they could probably surgically remove them if it's important to you, but it would be an optional surgery if there isn't a medical need.  You can even try a plastic surgeon to see if they think there is something they can do to improve the appearance- if that's the biggest concern you have.  I would probably start with a second opinion from another doctor though, especially if you have a few of them in a few different spots.
