Genital Pimples

Genital Pimples:

I've been doing as much research as I can on my own to figure out my sudden outbreak of genital pimples. I was let go from my job in October and haven't had any luck in finding work since, so visiting a doctor is out of the question right now, hence this online query.

My ex and I had unprotected sex frequently. We used condoms, but as difficulties and set-backs at work meant I had less money for food, gas and bills, let alone condoms, we decided to fore-go the tried and true "wrap your tool" method of intercourse. Stupid, I know, but I had my reasons. After being together roughly three months, I made the mistake of having entirely too much sex with my ex (neither one of us had to work for the next couple of days) and not showering immediately afterwards. The next morning, my groin began to itch. By the second day, I had several pimples along the edge of my shaft and scrotum (the crease where shaft and scrotal skin meets pubic skin).

Initially, I thought it was an allergic reaction. I'd never had an STD and hadn't slept with another woman in one and a half to two years, and she had been tested for STDs multiple times at the hospital due to a chronic condition we didn't know she had. In any event, she always came back as totally clean, and I know I never cheated. Also, she never developed any pimples, rashes, etc. down there at all, just me.

Well, it's been a few months since her and I split, and I still have these pimples. They look just like the pimples you'd get on your face, except instead of being a bump that forms into a white-headed bump that forms into mainly just a white-head, they're dome-shaped and slightly red-tinted with a white tip, and, also unlike a normal pimple for me, the white-head never comes out. Even after I pop them (the only thing that makes the itching and discomfort cease), the white-head remains. No white blood cell clumps, no puss, just a clear fluid. Now and then I'll get one that pops and then bleeds (not uncommon for me), but usually they just pop and leave a water-like fluid on my nails and either swell up again a day later (and resume itching) or fade over the course of a couple of days, only to pop up in a new location.

The pimples were originally confined to the aforementioned crease between genitals and groin, but now they've spread. I have one on the actual shaft of my penis (it's much smaller than the others, though) about an inch and a half to two inches from the tip, one right-smack on the middle-crease of my scrotum, and now (as of today) one rather large one that held a surprising amount of clear fluid right where the scrotum and taint meet. I've also noticed one smaller one on my left thigh near my groin.

I've checked out Genital Warts, Molluscum Contagiosum, Herpes, Shingles, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea - none of these look anything like what I have. Every picture I've seen is either completely off-base of what I have, or far too severe to accurately represent my condition. I also don't have any of the other symptoms I've read about, only the pimples. Like Molluscum, the pimples only get better and go away if I pop them, though it takes them a long time to heal afterwards. Again, the only relief I can get from the constant-itching that these pimples cause is by popping the pimples.

I'm curious to know if it's a skin condition or an allergy, an STD, or possibly the signs of something completely different. I've recently begun to suffer from severe dry-skin. My arms are completely covered in a hard-to-see rash that started near my wrists and has spread all the way to my elbows, almost like psoriasis. It's a rash comprised of hundreds of tiny, tiny red bumps beneath the surface of my skin that itch like crazy and have recently started to peel off as the skin dries out, hardens and flakes off. It itches mainly at my elbows and wrists, the edges of the territory it's now claimed on my forearms. I've also been sneezing a lot, and I've been suffering from frequent but mild nosebleeds. I mention this just incase the two issues are somehow related.

Please, if anyone can help me, I'd be very much so appreciative! I can't afford medical treatment, and the stress of this is driving me bonkers! I'm currently in a wonderful relationship, and my wonderful li'l sweetheart is pressuring me for sex, which I haven't given her yet because I refuse to partake in something that may potentially harm her. Besides that, it's hard to be taken seriously when one is itching at their crotch. -.o

As soon as I can find work, I'll be visiting a clinic (just to be safe), and I'm definitely putting some cash aside as a condom-fund! Until then, though, y'all are my only hope. Thank you all in advance for your help! ^.^

Waiting patiently,

Merc

Do you think that it can be lice, boils, or cellulitis?

We continued to have sex even after the bumps first showed up because it's fairly common for me to develop rashes, zits, etc. anywhere that I sweat. I know when I wear a bulletproof vest, my back explodes in an itching, burning rash because of how sensitive my skin is. This is another reason I thought maybe it was an allergic reaction. In any event, we'd had unprotected sex several times after and she got checked out at a clinic about a week before we split up. They said she was clean (I was there when they gave her the news), so that's why I really doubt it's an STD, even crabs. Also, there's no rash to speak of, just a few random pimples. No clusters, no redness (until I pop them), no burning sensation.. They're just itchy and swollen, then I pop them, they swell a bit more because of the trauma, the itching stops and then the swelling goes down shortly after.

My ex and I both have cold sores. I've had cold sores since I was a kid. Undoubtedly, my mother being the kissy-huggy-touchy type of mother gave them to me when I was a baby (she has them, too, heh), and the same can be said for my ex.

I have been washing my hands thoroughly (with Lava soap, nonetheless) every time I use the restroom, pop a pimple, etc. I don't have any apple-cider vinegar, unfortunately, though, like you said, it doesn't sound like genital warts. I really don't think it's an STD, but a skin-related problem, I just wanted to be sure, maybe check if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Like I said, they're lone pimples not clusters, not even groupings of two or more. There's no rash, just a general.. itch, especially along creases and seams where sweat accumulates. There's been no discharge, no funky feelings, no pain of any kind (not during urination, ejaculation - nothing). Also, my immune system is typically very healthy, though right now I seem to be suffering from several chronic problems that I have all at once, which is odd..

IBS runs in my family, and I've been experiencing gastro difficulties for two weeks now. My arm rashes have been around for about three weeks, maybe a month when they first started and weren't noticeable. I've had horrible headaches, very mild (but still uncomfortable) nosebleeds at least twice a day, a lot of sneezing, chapped lips.. I'm not used to compounded problems like this! >.<

obv., until you get checked out nothing can surely be determine.. however: it does not sound like a genital wart because they dont (typically from what ive read anyway) retain any fluid,,,it also doesnt sound like hsv (herpese) because they dont blister up, and you didnt mention any feverish symptoms prior to infection...

the itching could be an indication of a rash or perhaps crabs? did your partner experience this itching too? they spots sound like they might be contagious, so i would say molluscum is a possibility--remember when you look at images on the web, the examples are usually the most severe cases out there...so they wouldnt typically represent what you have anyway, unless your immune system is compromised.

i would suggest that you try to refrain from all sexual contact anal/oral/vaginal...wash your hands thoroughly after each time you have scratched you genital region...and wait for a time when you can see a doc...

perhaps put some apple -cider vinegar on the bumps for 10 mins and see what happens...if they turn white it is an indication that you have genital warts, however you cant fully rely on it either way, this test is known  to produce false positive and false negatives...only an examination fromm a gp and probably a biopsy could diagnose what it is for certain...
