Hair loss need help!
Hi I'm a 30 year old women and about 3 weeks ago I noticed a bald spot on the back of my head it's about the size of a half dollar very noticible and I have alot of hair coming out when I shower or comb it . I went to the family doc. and he said it was alopecia, but he did not do any blood test or anything. He just set me p withan appointment with a dermatologist, but I cant get in untill April and I dont have any insurance ,so if it is something that is a waste of time and money I would rather not go. I have also been very tired and not feeling myself latley. I would just like to know if you would agree that it is alopecia and if you tink i should have blood test done. thank you

It could be hypothyroidism. It has happened to me in just that manner. The hair grows back with treatment.
