Needle-like dots on fingertip

I have about 5 needle like, or pin prick like dots on one of my fingers tips. It started as one but now I noticed there is about 5. They are small and not very noticeable, but if you look closely you can see them. They hurt if pressure is applied. I don’t recall seeing this before. Possibly something similar when I had warts on my foot, so that’s all that I know it could be. Does anyone have any explanations? Also, can pictures be posted so it’s easier to see what I’m talking about?

put a picture on your home page in the photo section.

Have you done anything like dishes lately?  Compromised skin like that can be from friction or something you've done.  What do you use that finger for?  (not a weird question, I hope).
