Red circular patch on leg

A couple of days ago a red circular patch appeared on my thigh. It isn't big, the circle is maybe the size of a five pence coin however there is an outer circle which is more pigmented as well. What do you think this is? Originally I thought it was a bite, but I've never been bitten before and it doesn't itch or cause any discomfort. There is a tiny scab like dot in the middle of the circle as well. I wouldn't really say it's dry or any different from the rest of the skin besides there being a tiny bump under the middle of the circle.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I hope you did not go out in the open because from the symptoms, a tick bite needs to be ruled out. The other possibility although less likely is of insect bite, nummular dermatitis or ringworm( itchy). I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
