Five years with the same itchy bump, Help!

Help! I've had this little bump on my upper lip almost five maybe six years. Its never gone away. I will say that over the years its gotton smaller. It feels a puffy and at times firm. Up until this year it has nevr itched this much. Omg it itches like crazy and I'm trying hard not to scratch it.It itches everyday all day.Thinking back on it every since I started using my foundation it's been itching like crazy. Gonna be honest the current foundation is pushing four years old. I ran out or the one i was using before and I'm cheap. The bump has never bled (not to knowlege) and defintly never pused. The times I have borthed it by scratching or most recently kissing, it peels or dry scabed. The bump it self is almost darn near invisble and nobody seems to see it but me. maybe cause I've gotton use to the location and it looks a little darker then the rest of my lip, not sure. I've also had dry lips for most of life and my lips are constantly chaping, cracking or bleeding. I also battled ezema for many years that affeted the bottom of lip and came in the winter brought on by constant licking of lip. I've been told that I hae outgrown it. Thank god! Oh yeh twice I've noticed a little red bump. both went away within days. I also have this really really small bumps above my lip and chin. Could this acne? and what could all the rest be? I"m really worried what all this could be. Up until last month I've never been sexual active but I dnt know if it could be herpes. Please help?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be a small cyst, contact dermatitis or a cold sore if it scabs and then recurs. Pain, burning, tingling, or itching occurs at the infection site before the sores appear. Then clusters of blisters erupt which break down. You need to get some investigations like sample from the sores to identify the virus, culture analysis, Tzanck smear, antigen and antibody studies and blood sampling for antibody studies done to confirm the diagnosis. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
