If your doctor said it was ok, then I would say it's fine- but there are some things you should think about.  From what I understand, it can still be painful and cause irritation.  Also, you need to be sure that unprotected sex with your partner will not cause another issue- such as pregnancy or STD (if they have one for instance).  Personally, I'd probably wait until it was healed just to avoid any further irritations- especially if I had the condition for that long.

Thank you so much Community leader..!!! I tested everything ...i tested whether i hv STD or not..i was happy i didnt have bt i am still not sure of doing sex with my partner whether doctor says, this is not STD ..u can hv sex..!!!! .bt i got idea, information from you thnx a lot.!!Lastly does this zoon balanitis disease transfer to my partner, when i dnt hv STD
From what I understand, balanitis itself will not be spread, however the organisms that cause balanitis could be contagious- so the yeast or bacteria that has caused yours could cause some issue for your partner.
