Skin problem

Recently something appeared on my temple. At first I thought it was a pimple but after a few months the thing still remained on my temple. It doesn't hurt when I press or "play around" with it. But it's affecting my looks and my friends have actually advised me to see a doctor. Any idea what it may be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This can be a small cyst, lipoma or a benign skin growth. Apply warm compresses and avoid picking it up. It should decrease in size with the warm compresses. If it persists then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
