Tiny needle sized hole in toe after infected wound healed.

Dropped a piece of ply wood and the corner smashed the area between my foot and pinkie toe leaving a nice lil wound. I took care of it the best I could. But the toe ended up infected swollen and with a large pus filled area were the wound was at. It hurt like hell, and i could barely walk. Black salve/ichthammol ointment is what I used on it and 1 day while in a hot shower the swollen area ended up exploding the top open and a large amount of thick pus and blood poured out, took a few weeks  to heal up, But now there is a tiny lil needle sized blackish hole where it hit, and if I get it stepped on, or drop anything on it my toe can sometimes get the infection back, and the hole tends to hurt like something's in it, but I can't feel anything. Any idea what might be going on?

Maybe a foreign body that got embedded, like a really tiny sliver or even a piece of your sock. Can't you get in to see a doctor? They could look under magnification and see what's going on.
