Cluster of small, itchy bumps on upper arms?

Around 1 week ago my upper arm was itchy before bed. I scratched it a bit and when I woke up the next morning, there was a cluster of small slightly pink bumps on my arm. Because I am an impulsive person, I scratched at them - they went pinker and mini scabs slowly formed in the centre of each bump. They seemed to spread a bit, but they are currently still limited to my upper arms.

If gender and age matter, I'm female and 14 years old. Also, I don't usually have contact with animals, and the likelihood of it being poison ivy or another plant is low. I'm fairly hygienic, usually showering every day or so.

I highly doubt it's an allergic reaction, dermatitis, eczema, folliculitis, etc. It may be keratosis pilaris, but I'd like opinions before I visit the doctors place.

Thanks.

It's important to get a doctor to evaluate you in person, as they will be able to gather more of your medical history and important information- but based off of reading this, it really sounds to me like dry skin.  Try to stay away from scratching it and use some extra lotion/body cream on it to see if that helps.
