how do i help heal severely dry and painfully cracked heels?

I have very dry callouses on my heels that get so bad they crack and bleed. it kills me to walk sometimes. i have tried removing the callouses with razor and a ped egg, but that just seems to make my heels more sensitive. I walk alot dureing the day (miles) and every step seems to open up a new crack. I have tried aquaphilic and socks overnight, i have had pedicures, and i have worked on them myself with lotions and tools. is there a remedy for this condition?  what could the cause be? and should i see a dermatologist?

There is also these "roll-on" thing a doctor came up with. It's in TV a lot. I would suggest that. Lots of women and men say it works great

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For calluses of hand, please apply lots of moisturising lotion and vit E on the hands. Place protective covering or bandages over the sore to decrease friction on the skin until the sore heals. Rub sandpaper disks or pumice stone over hard thickened regions. Soak feet or hands in warm soapy water to soften calluses. Then rub with a pumice stone and apply some moisturizer.

If still the calluses persist, then please go in for removal by surgical means or with keratolytic agents (medicines that break up hardened areas of skin). Shaving or cutting off the hardened area on the skin by a doctor is also helpful.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
