Small Rashe wont go away

I have this odd rash on my neck where the skin folds and I noticed it when I got home after getting my hair cut.  It has not spread or gotten any bigger but it itches, red, swollen and either it weeps a clear liquid or it sweats when it is irritated. I put alcohol on it for a couple of days and it dried out it also felt like it scaled over but this only lasted for a while it came back after a few days its. It has been a month since is noticed it.  I tryed a fungus cream and antibiotic but the alcohol is the only this that gave relife or any hope of a cure.  What can i do or try that may help i cant afford a doctor right now. Please Help....

Hi,

Does the lesion have a raised border and central clearing?

Does it itch a lot? Please keep an eye on the development of any new such lesions.
Also do not shave in the area where you may have developed this lesion.

Let me know if you have any other thoughts.

Hi,

On superficial examination this appears to be either an allergy, insect bite, fungal infection or eczema.

All of these are distinct entities and therefore would need distinct treatments.
Did you have any such lesions in the past?

Did you also notice any raised borders and vesicles on this areas or similar patches anywhere else on the body? How old are you and have you had fungal infections in the past? have you noticed if you any of your co-inhabitants also have similar lesions.

You may use anti-histamines, calamine lotion and moisturizers for the time being.

Let me know this additional information and let me know if you may have any queries.
