MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Tinea corporis or fungal infection on the body presents as a red circular lesion with a scaly border. Diagnosis is usually made based on the appearance  and with skin scrapings evaluated under the microscope. An over-the-counter antifungal cream or ointment is the usual treatment for ringworm. However, if it persists,  have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management.

Take care and keep us posted.
