She has been tested for everything and nothing, thank goodness. We have tried to take foods away to see if one specific food may be causing it and came up with nothing but stay away from frozen pizza's. She don't eat them anymore. It very well could be her hormones doing crazy things. She is on her 4th type of birth control to help with this and her periods are better with the one she is on now but I guess her hormone levels still could be messed up somewhat. I hate to even take her to the doctor because they think it is just her sugar causing it. They have no idea what we go through. When blood tests don't show a specific reason, they tend to believe it is her sugar causing it. I have tried telling them that it isn't because we check so often and these episodes can start with good blood sugar range then start to rise. Thank you and I will keep this in mind.
Could also be stress induced dreams. Sleep therapy is also another option. But I'd go with the above, it seems to be more of a pyschial reaction.

At her age, hormones are still wildly swinging, and hormonal changes may be the cause, even if it is not always happening right before her period. So I would guess at hormonal changes first. Even if it does not happen around the time of her period, you may want to write it down on a calendar to see if there is a pattern to when it happens. It could be that some female hormones are high at this time, even if it is not at the end of her cycle. It won't hurt to start taking note of the timing just to investigate.
Has she been tested for celiac disease? This is certainly a possibility, and it is fairly common in type 1 people. And it is easy to treat with the removal of wheat gluten from the diet.
Celiac disease is different from allergies, so my next question would be has anyone considered food allergies? Some food allergies don't display in typical symptoms such as bloating or hives, but can show up in other health issues. You might want to try picking some of the foods most commonly the source of allergies and remove them maybe one at a time for a few weeks to see if removing that one food substance makes a difference. It can't hurt, and you might learn something. Wheat and dairy allergies are very common, and wheat allergies are not the same as celiac disease.
If some stress on her system is causing the vomitting, such as allergies, the body responds by producing adrenalin, and that hormone causes blood sugars to rise. So the high glucose levels make sense. And of course the high blood sugar levels may make her even more nauseated, so the cycle continues until that episode is over.
