I had lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks and then all of a sudden I hit this big sad plateau. So my husband and I went through my food diary that I had on another site and it said I was getting between 500-1000 calories a day. I wasn't meaning to by all means. I thought that I was getting the 1200 calories a day and I watched what I ate and no soda(big soda drinker here) and I worked out everyday except the weekends and I just walked thoughs. I'm thinking that my caloric in take was too low as well. There is still so much I need to learn. Thank you jenandjon
Yeah. I think you're right. If your caloric intake gets too low your body thinks its starving and slows down your metabolism. Its a challenge to find the right pace to lower your intake while keeping your metabolism high. Take a look at the glycemic index (google it). There are foods that are good to eat together and can help your body balance itself out. Good luck!
