Um what is this pottie pa?if it is what I think it is, just like for cats it would be near impossible with a dog past puppyhood.
As for training! take her out when she wakes up from a sleep also after a feed if you have the time take her out as much as you can
praise and her treat you might have a tubby spoilt little girl by the time she gets the message but its worth it.
Wherever she has been wee's clean with soda water it neutralises the smell so she wont be attracted to go there again, white vinager is nearly as good cheap brand will do.
Cockers are very loving and sensitive and she needs to know she will be with you forever just keep telling her and saying you love her.My dogs know what I mean when I say I love you and my Golden Retriever tries to say it back .My Clumber Spaniels just rumble around in delight. They gurgle and boy are they clowns and big lumps of love.
They are all gundogs just like your little girl and the love inside them knows no
bounds
.All dogs with the right people are wonderful they become an extension of you and the love you give them.
OK Im soppy ......sue me.lol.
Cocker Spaniels always have ear problems as they are so long and cover the inner ear so not much fresh air can get to them so of course you have many types of infection....... fungal being the most common and earmites..
The best thing to do is while she is at the vets get them to clip most of the fur off her ears so the air can get in.
Might be a good idea to invest in some dog clippers to do it yourself ,good for feet too.
thanks for the advise.. i no she has an ear problem and i will be getting her to the vet.. she is just so sensitive to her ears...and i am also trying this treat system.. i just dont no.. i think where she is a rescue dog...she might have had previous issues to scar her with the whole pottie situation.. i dont no for sure but im gonna keep trying.. she is my heart.. the best dog i will ever have...
I love Cocker Spaniels used to breed then.Look inher ears and then sniff it smells she has ear problems also might be an allergy.Take her too the Vets.
You Cocker is as good as the person who trains them.So start the treat system every time she goes..... give her something she loves to eat, like liver or meat bits. she will soon get the message.
Its called Bribery and it works lol.
