No muzzle.  Too much to try and explain now but do a Google search on crate training puppies or dogs.
You can also do a search on stopping puppies from nipping.
Good time to start reading and educating yourself  as to the different stages your puppy will go through.

Another good source for reading is  NILF training for dogs (nothing in life is free).

You are going to have one strong dog and a breed that often gets a bad rap.  Be a responsible dog owner, do proper training and you should have a nice pet.  It is old hat to discipline dogs by hitting them, etc.

Good luck

Well, welcome to puppies.  :-)

First off, I would not allow him to sleep on the bed.  Not a good time or place to correct or train him and he will most likely to continue to do that.  Have you just tried ignoring him?  Try that and he may give up the battle if he sees he gets no attention or reaction.

You should get a crate and crate train him.  I am a firm advocate of crate training for a number of reasons.

Again, the nipping has to be corrected.
