Some of the things to watcch for in a possible head injury
are:
Abnormal level of consciousness, differences in pupil size,
rigid limbs, unresponsibe limb movement, unusual eye
movement, bleeding from the nostrils, bleeding from the
ear canal, seizures, head tilting to one side or the other,
wanting to sleep all the time, being very lethargic.
IF YOU SEE ANY OF THESE- FIND AN ER VET RIGHT
AWAY,DON'T WAIT AND TAKE YOUR BOY IN.
I hope he has none of these symptoms and he is ok,I also
suggest a more careful watch and do not leave him alone
on a high place again or a counter and walk away or turn
away, puppies are quick and can jump or move fast and fall
Please come back and let us know how he is doing.

Thanks Jan, thankfully he has none of those symptoms and is still his usual self. And yes, he will never be left on a high place ever again.
