Awww, I am so sorry for you and your sweet girl! Girl, my 3 four legged babies are my world, so I can only imagine how you feel! I just wntd to tell you that I will be thinking about you guys and be praying your precious baby gets better! Please keep us posted on how things are going and I wish you all the luck in the world!!! You are a great mom and as long as she has you, all will be ok...:)
My goodness....You have gone above & beyond for your girl......Bless you!!! One of mine had sudden Pneumonia not long ago....Like overnight.....Just a few coughs that I really wasn't concerned about.....Was quite surprised when the chest xray showed lungs full of fluid.....
On hers, the xray showed the whole lung area to be clouded WHITE.....It was based on that view....
She was treated with an injectable broad spectrum antibiotic that lasts for 2 weeks, but stays in the system longer...It's fairly new....I'll have to go look up the name......"Convenia". I'm worried about this new drug however, only for one reason......As with any medication, a reaction can occur......With oral pills, you can stop giving them.....With these long term injectable ones, any reaction and your basically screwed! That worries me!
This med DID clear up her Pneumonia though.....I'm sorry I cannot be of more help to you and your dog...Seems that your Vet is doing a very, good job!!!! I DO hope you get to the bottom of this AND that it's treatable.....
I'll we watching for updates.....My Blessings to you and your girl.....Your in my prayers.......Karla
The test came back negative for Blastomycosis. So I'm dealing with Pneumonia or tumor or cancer. I'm going for Pneumonia any info on what drugs would work would be helpful . I thinking of doing a month of antibiotics and then doing xrays again to see the results.
Sorry I posted yesterday, but nothing happened.

Went to Blue Pear in Eden Prairie ( vet specialist)
Saw Jill Lurye
Did xrays and they show a mass forming on the left side lung , the lungs also look more restricted then the original xray 2 month ago.
They wanted to get a sample of the lung and do test.
Mind you my bill is $450 and this test will tell me ? if it is a tumor or cancer I don’t need to know, I put enough antibiotics through her if it was bacterial it should have went away. If it Blastomycosis we can try and treat that, so we did a urine sample and sent it in , should know in 2 days. My gut just say try the fungus medication, can’t hurt. Very disappointed in blue pearl for being out of touch of what test cost, and going by a script of what to do next and not looking at the full picture.

Since Antibiotics don't seem to be helping, I'd lean towards "Lung Worms" which would apply to your dogs lifestyle OR a Lung Fungal infection.....Give us some updates, please........Karla
Donut rings in the lungs? Did your Vet explain that?
Swimming in a pond? Parasite or bacteria of some sort?
Tests for TBD done?
Welcome.....How old is this dog? Is she fully vaccinated? Has your Vet done a complete blood panel looking for any clues? How about a fecal sample? Has that been done? Is she running a fever? More information is needed.....Thanks, Karla
