Dog problems

I dog a puppy a week ago the first two days he would go out do his business and cone right back in not that it is cold outside he is refusing to go I let him off the leash and he runs back to the door I put him on a leash and I have to pull him to get him to move I am starting to hate this dog.... I think I should give him back but my husband and son loves him but he I'd my dog I paid for him and am responsible for him and his messes every time I bring him inside he will go potty idk what to do any more I'm about to pull my hair out!!! Please help me I don't want to get rid of him because I just got him but if he isn't going to even try to go potty I can't keep him I got rid of a dog that I loved to pieces because of his accidents inside in not going to allow this mutt to get away with it either



Also any tips to help me bond with him would be great because right now I hate him and I don't want to hate him but I can to The point I'm going to sell him

It takes a long time to train a dog. It doesn't sound like you're that interested in taking that time for training. If you're this fed up already, maybe you should get a cat instead.

I must admit, I tend to agree with kerk2.  This is a puppy and it really sounds like you do not have the motivation or skills to deal with this.  It is not fair to the pup who will only become anxious and be afraid of you.  Please do try to return him or find him a good home.

From the sound of your post, I think you should find him another home. You don't sound to me like you should even have a dog. I can sense that the dog is probably afraid of you. It is a 'puppy' ..... what do you expect??

I have never seen anyone on any pet forum call their dog a 'mutt'. And "..I am starting to hate this dog.."?  

You sound more concerned about YOU than the animal. I would recommend returning him if possible. My guess is that wherever that was, he will feel safer than he does with you.
