Baytril is used for many things, it is an antibiotic. My dog responds very well on this and just recently we decided to put her on it for 6-8 weeks. Your dog should be fine with this use. I did look up the price of it and it was cheaper online, so if your going to do this long term you might ask your vet if they will match the price or allow you to buy it online sice it will be for a long term use. My vet saved me 75 dollars.
When our dog had Cushings, she was on Trilostane. She didn't do well on it. I always wondered if the Lysodren would have been better. Does your dog act better since hes been on the Lysodren, and hows his appetite? Ours lost her appetite almost totally while on the Trilostane. What is the Baytril supposed to help with?
