WHAT IS THE BEST MEDICATION FOR A RASH ON MY BOSTON TERRIER? SHE IS CONSTANTLY SCRATCHING AND IS STARTING TO CAUSE IT TO BLEED.
My dog has had the same smelly, red areas on her belly. Then eventually her hair started to fall out. Since then she has been put on cyclosporin, a human medicine to prevent rejection to people with organ transplants. She has gotten much better, but I also have to bathe her 2 time/week. She is getting there. skin infections are very common in Boston's. Good luck!
Hi, I was just wondering if the rash your terrier has - has an odor? If it does, I'm going through the same thing with my dogs. The vet called it a "yeast infection" of the skin. It also makes the hair eventually fall out. Sound familiar? If so, I can tell you what the vet told us to do.
