Hind legs weak and can't push out the poop

Our dog just turned 14 and is having a hard time pushing the poo out, this has caused him to walk around hunched trying to push.  He has degeneration of his hind muscles is unable push, he needs help getting up and once moving walks fine but when he hunches cant get the muscle power to push it out.  Due to being backed up now has no interest in food.  Is there anything we can give him to help him poo?
