Japanese chin losing weight even though eating?
I have a 12 yr old Japanese chin that had to have her eye removed a few months ago due to glaucoma. She has been losing weight even though she has been eating. She has lost about 2 pounds in 4 months. Now she has recently started screaming the pain, not wanting to eat, bloody stools and a UTI. My vet has ran blood work and it is completely normal. Radiographs show arthritis but she is already on Deramaxx for that. Is there something I am missing? I want to get her relief but have to watch what medication she gets. Unsure why she will be fine one minute and the next not. Anyone have any ideas on where to go from here???
