SUDDEN MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF FAMILY DOG
Four days ago our healthy 6 yr old Golden Retriever was happy , healthy and normal energetic self...then she came inside and her eyes were red..two days ago, she didn't want to go outside and today she started vomiting and went off food...earlier she began to lose control of her back legs...she passed away just about an hour ago...We are completely baffled...
Could she have been bitten by something? A snake or poisonous spider? Or maybe gotten into to some pesticide or rat poison? I know how sad you must be to lose her so suddenly and at such a young age. My condolences to you.
Yes, sorry for your loss. Any chance she got into something outside. Unless your Vet dies a necropsy, there just is probably no way to tell the cause.
So sorry for your loss. that must be devastating. Did the vet say what he thought it was? possibly poison/toxins?
