Yesterday we (me and my girlfriend) went out for a few hours, and we found one of my four dogs(He is a collie and sheltie mix), locked in our bedroom. We are not sure how he got in their, but he was crying. He went through all the garbage, and later that night he had a seizure. It's like his legs gave out, and after literally one second, I picked him up, put him on the couch and he seemed ok. This morning He peed himself, couldn't walk, was drooling, hiding behind me, trouble walking, and panting.
He recently switched to purina puppy chow, and I am wondering if that could have anything to do with it. He has been healthy for all 9 years, and this just happened.
We went to the vet today and they think it was a seizure. All vitals were normal, BP was good, Glucose was good, neurological signs were perfect. They wanted to keep him overnight, but we didn't have the $2500 to do that. So we took him home. After being at the vet for 20 mins, he was back to himself. He was barking, running, jumping and eating.
I understand that It may be a brain tumor, but if it is, what can we do?
I am so scared, I can't lose him. He's not in pain, and
