18 year old dog appears to have dementia, treatments for crying and whinningl?
Like most dogs, still wags his tail and happy to see us but obviously not happy. Started a few months ago and only at night with crying and whinning. Has been to the vet twice and physically has the all clear. We take turns laying with him, we have tried music, leaving t.v. on, weighted blankets, over the counter meds, and benadryl; nothing helps. It keeps us up for hours every night. Now affecting our work and sanity. We are willing to try anything at this point. Thank you.
