Does this maltese puppy look fine to you?

Hi!
I'm about to go and adopt this puppy from a litter of a guy (not a professional breeder. His dogs just mated.) The father is an original maltese while the mother is a maltese mixed with yorkshire.
This is the photo of the puppy he sent to me today. Does this puppy look fine? He's going to take it to the vet tomorrow but I would love a second opinion.
I can't go and see it with my eyes 'cause he's 120 km away from me and I would spare me a useless trip.
I heard that wall-eyes might be a sign of neurological conditions and I'm just trying to recover from a mourn so I'm not really prepared to take care of a neurologically damaged puppy.

P.S. "I can't go and see it with my eyes 'cause he's 120 km away from me and I would spare me a useless trip."

This might be the most important trip you make & certainly not useless!! You need to go see the puppies, the parents of the puppies, the living conditions, the humans & everything else involved!!!!

Welcome.....You state that you are going to adopt this puppy? How old are these puppies? Are you paying money for this dog? Buying or adopting? These guys have NOT had a Vet check, yet? There are alot of red flags here, so it would be impossible to give you a yes or no!

I personally, would wait for the Vet check & MAKE SURE you have a Health Certificate from the breeder.. Ask the breeder for the Vet's name,  call the Vet  & make sure the check really happened WAY before you bring the dog home......I would make them fax you a copy before you make a decision...The Vet that examines the puppy will be able to answer your questions....

From online resources, you are NOT guaranteed that the photo is actually of the puppy you are getting...There are many tricks to the trade (Including Lying!!) Please proceed with caution!    Karla

It is so hard to tell from a photo, but wall-eyes *could* be the sign of a neurological condition.  With that said, sometimes puppies (depending on the age) lack a certain amount of neurological function and gain it as they age.  Others are affected forever.  Personally, if your emotional health is very delicate right now, I would avoid the puppy.  Not because of anything I see in the photos (too hard to tell), but simply because living things give us no guarantees.  What does the "breeder" say about the puppy's eyes?
