Hello Kovar.... Although SAM-e & Milk Thistle will do wonders for the Liver Enzymes, your largest concern here is the Hypercalcemia.....Everything should be done to find out what's causing it!!! The #1 cause in animals as in humans is Cancer....Since you mention she cannot walk & is in pain, has your Vet ruled out a tumor of the spine? That is my first thought...Can you tell where the pain is coming from?
Next would be Vitamin D Poisoning such as Rat, Mice Poisons.....Any chance she has gotten into any? ALso, Low quality dogfood manufactures cannot be trusted! Purina being one of them! There are thousands of complaints about Purina products making dogs ill and causing death. Here is the link:

Hills products are just as bad! (Including their prescription diets). Why is your dog on the ID....Did this all start with Vomiting & diarrhea?
Next would be Thyroid Disease. It's very common and can be ruled out w/a special blood test.....
Kidney disease and/or Failure would cause the elevated Calcium, too...However, the Kidney levels would have shown up on the regular blood panel as an issue....
Your dog hasn't been eating any Chicken jerky treats has she? THese are ALL poisonous if they are made in China, which most are.....They are causing an alarming amount of illness in Pets, so I wanted to mention it.
If your Vet doesn't seem to want to find the root cause, then you need a second opinion....The Liver isn't the problem, but the Calcium source.....Let me know any other information you can think of.....Karla
She is heart worm tested every year which tests for ehrliciosis and Lyme, but I don't know about other tick borne diseases. She eats ID and treats are pill pockets to give her meds. She has only been on ID for a couple weeks now, prior to that she was eating Pro Plan. Thanks for the response!
Has she been checked for ALL Tick Borne Diseases? What does she eat ? Names please...Including names of all treats.......Thanks
