giardia in dogs
my dog has been diagnosed with giardia. does he need treatment if he is havingno symptoms?
giardia is a zoonotic disease which means it is transferrable 2 humans!
Yes he needs treatment - my puppy had a swollen stomach but no loose stools - and yes please take him to a new vet and get your dog on meds - usually a powder but can be a liquid. No home treatment works and they can pass it on to other dogs

Yes he needs treatment. Can't believe your vet didn't provide treatment, your vet did diagnose right? I forget the exact drug but it might be albon or flagyl.Denise
