Hello & welcome....Sounds like an ear infection.....He does need to see a Vet because he needs antibiotics to cure it......The Vet will probably give you an ointment to put in his ears if they're not too bad...If they are, then oral antibiotics will be needed...

Left untreated, these can get much worse & the pain is awful....Severe infections can damage the ear drum which can lead to rupture & deafness.....

See if you can find a Vet that's open on Saturday   Some will be open till noon at least.....Hopefully, you don't work on Saturdays, as this ear thing needs to be treated ASAP......

Good luck & please come back to let us know how he's doing....Karla

P.S. It also could be ear mites.....Usually mites are in both ears & are very itchy.........An infection would usually be in one ear......Take care

I agree with Karla, it sounds very much like your dog has either an ear infection or a serious case of ear mites.  Either way, the reason he cries is because it hurts, and he needs to be seen by a vet.  You need to find a way to get him there, either take a long lunch or go in late one day, but you can't continue to let him live in pain just because your work hours don't coincide with the vet's hours.  Do you work EVERY day?  As Karla said, most vets have hours on Saturdays at LEAST until noon, and even in small towns there is usually more than one vet to go to.  If your normal vet is not open, then find one that is, even if you have to make a short drive.  If you allow this to go unmedicated it can become VERY serious.  Please do the right thing by your dog and make sure you get him to a vet.

Where I live, the vet has evening surgery hours, I think they go up to 7-30, plus early morning ones (for anyone who needs to be at work at nine) -I think they start at 8-15. Then there are the afternoon hours which run from lunchtime to 4-ish.
I went for ages not realizing there was a late evening surgery! So maybe you could inquire if there are any hours you can fit into your work schedule?
And many places of work allow short breaks (to visit the dentist etc....why not the vet?) of course that's variable, some places won't.
