Can enlarged circumvallate papillae cause pain when swallowing?

I've been looking all over the internet in order to give myself a self diagnosis and I believe and hope I have enlarged circumvallate papillae. I smoke so when I started having pain when I swallowed I immediately though the worst, and then when I saw the papillae got even more scared. Anyways I was just wondering can circumvallate papillae be accompanied by pain swallowing?
