Weird little lump/mini tonsil

I was sick with a cold/sore throat for awhile and I'm not sure if this has always been there but I just noticed it now. With covid, my family dr doesn't really want to look in my mouth. Any ideas what this could be?

Well, that's a little crazy that your family doctor doesn't want to treat you.  Seriously kind of neglectful.  Is this because you have no other symptoms currently?  You don't still have a sore throat, correct? This could be what is going on . . . it happens after being sick at times. https://www.healthline.com/health/cobblestone-throat  from the article "Cobblestone throat is a term doctors use to describe an irritated throat with visible bumps and lumps at the back. The bumps are caused by enlarged lymphatic tissue in the tonsils and adenoids, which are pockets of tissue in the back of your throat. "  It is not serious or really an issue.  If you are thinking about cancer as the reason, you'd have other issues.  Difficulty swallowing and feeling like something is caught in your throat.
