Ear operated 1 year ago

Hi,
I had an operation on my right ear 1year ago..
Reason: i got a pimple type grown near the ear canal entrance(is still outside the ear).
I went to squeeze and i injured the area. Then that area was swollen, went to see doctor, the use a injection syringe to draw out a full tube of water, the swollen went away but few hours later came back.i went to do this 5 times for the pass 2 week. But doctor told me is a cyst. So arrange to operate and cut away the cyst..
Went for sugery and the swollen was gone...
That was recently this 2 days, when yesterday morning i woke up, my ear had abit of swelling, then when the day goes it subside.. then today same again.. swelling again and many hours later swelling goes down..
Can fell that area is abit warmer when i woke up and the warm went away like the swelling..
Can advice why is this happening...
