Hi jrizz, i'm sorry to hear of your problem. Have you had an MRI or a CAT scan done?
and for some reason 'keloid' came to mind.. have you asked your doctors about that?

i hope you are well tonight.
I have had the same problems except i have a swollen nose and under my eyes as well. i have had it for eight or nine years and it wont seem to go away.
wow. Have you spoken with anyone who might be able to help you through this? a phyciatrist maybe?
Perhaps go to a 'walk in' clinic, and tell them what happened and maybe they can recommend something.
and it sort of sounds like you might have to file a lawsuit or something. I would talk to as many people as possible. don't get discouraged. you have to keep pushing.
yes....after i had my wisdom tooth extracted, it felt like my jaw had been broken! unexplainable pain......im horrified, and very depressed.....this shouldnt happen to anyone....i went to a reg. dentist my neighbor recomended , he said he's nearby, and pulls teeth, so i thought, ok, i have no vehicle (from being in car accident last dec.) my tooth is bothering me, so, i went.....BIG MISTAKE.....what am i supposed to do? i've lost a lot of weight too, from not being able to eat....im so stressed........my anxiety is through the roof.....! i regret ever going to that dentist....the neuro gave me 750mg. vicodin, but i cant take that everyday, especially on an empty stomach....i have to get the x-rays done...im scared my jaw may be fractured.....
yikes, that is horrible. and lame that they won't accept your insurance. so, you were diagnosed with TMJ after the wisdom tooth surgery?
hey, try having your wisdom tooth pulled, (back in march) like i did, then developing dry socket, (extremelly painfull) then everytime you talk, your throat, glands hurt,AND your ear pops.......to top that off i was diagnosed w/ tmj by a neurologist, and have severe pain in my right jaw....i went to the e.n.t., and he said my ear looked "fine", okay, then why the hell am i in so much pain? think i have nerve damage from the butcher dentist who extracted my tooth, and get this, there's no oral surgeon in the county i live in who'll accept my insurance....nice right.....
