I get ear infections a lot and no one knows why. Two weeks ago I started having clogged ears with mild ear pain went to urgent care dr said no infection cleaned my ears out told me to get over counter ear wax removal drops. Was told in day would feel much better. But I felt the same . I went back and another dr told me that lots of times it turns into ear infection after wax removed so he gave script for medicated drops. Took for a week like dr told me and pain and fullness still there. I went back and was told by another dr that there is no infection but she looked a long time and said eardrum could be perferated. And she poked around in my ear try to see if the wax was just laying there or if it was attached to my eardrum. So she left the wax there. She said no infection so no meds was told the ear pain was my tmj and the fullness was either allergy or from cold . But she asked me couple times if I had sinus pressure or runny nose or a cough. Or any cold symptoms and I said no.. Why then would she tell me to get a nose spray and a degongestive and things for a cold. And she sent me home I felt ok but not great and then in middle of night. My ear pain got worse and ringing in ear and some fullness. So I went to see about getting some pain meds. In a tray that I keep my meds in. I came across some ear drop that were not all used from other ear infection I had about six months earlier. I put the drops in and now I feel way worse. My ears feel more clogged and pain is not as bad . But I feel light headed . The ear drops have a steroid in it . Was wondering if it is making me dizzy or if dr made it worse by poking around in my ear. Should I go back to another urgent care. I have to find a new gp dr. As mine left the practice and seen others there and they rush you threw and don't care. What should I do.
