Sinus pressure/fluid for 3 years

Hi I have been dealing with sinus pressure/fluid for the past 3 years. I've been diagnosed with bipolar type 2, and every time I swing into a manic/depressive side I feel like there's a "lever" that snaps and releases fluid into the sinuses that is not supposed to be there. Normally I have to deal with the mania/mood swing for several months to years, then the "lever" magically switches back and releases all the fluid immediately. My CT scan (no dye contrast) was clear and my doctor prescribed me Vitamin B2  with Magnesium and to take flonase, but I think I need another scan or to do a balloon sinusplasty to see relief. Has anyone else had similar issues and if so what did you do to resolve it? Thanks!
