Strange sore/bump (ulcer?) in back of throat (see picture)

My throat was bothering me last week so I looked in my mouth and noticed a strange sore/bump near the back of my throat that is best described as looking like an octopus's suction cup (ie it looks like there's a hole/depression in the middle of the bump). Is it possibly an ulcer? I've been gargling with mouthwash hoping that it would help it to heal and go away. It's still there after a week but no longer hurts, other than a little when I first wake up.

Here is a picture with the sore in question circled: http://imgur.com/tWoXJl3

Please post back here if you do wind up getting another opinion! Glad to hear I'm not alone.

I have almost the exact looking thing, mine is on the right side of my mouth in the spot where my tonsils would be (I had them removed when I was 3 years old). I went to my ENT and he told me that it was just lymph tissue. I'm contemplating going to another ENT for a second opinion. I have no pain with mine, and I don't think its got any bigger since the last time i saw my ENT for it (about 2 months now) but it hasn't gone down at all.
