Throat feels swollen and I can taste blood?

Earlier today I noticed a strange taste in my throat and from my experience of countless nosebleeds I pinpointed the taste to be blood or something of similar metallic taste. Later I could still taste the blood in my throat but then a felt a new sensation in which it felt like the blood or some sort of liquid was running down my throat. Currently, I still feel the running but I also feel like the right side of my throat is swelling or swollen or closing up, but the feeling is strongest near my upper neck by the back of my right jaw. I don't know what is going on but it is kind of freaking me out.

Also, it feels hard to swallow but not hard to breathe, and I haven't eaten anything today yet.
