MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Glaucoma may be asymptomatic while in few people it may cause hazy or blurred vision, the appearance of rainbow-colored circles around bright lights, severe eye and head pain, nausea or vomiting which may be accompanying severe eye pain and sudden sight loss. Early diagnosis and treatment is key in preventing vision loss from glaucoma. Siblings of persons diagnosed with glaucoma have a very high chance of having glaucoma compared to siblings of persons without glaucoma. An ophthalmological examination may be important for confirming the cause of your symptoms. If you are worried an appointment with an eye doctor will be helpful. Hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
