Probably not chronic sinusitis. The symptom you listed is not nearly enough to draw such a conclusion. I do agree with trying mucolytics and saline irrigations. Beyond that, only a physical exam can determine whether this is a mucosal/inflammation issue (eg, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis) or an anatomic issue (eg, septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy). Find an ENT doc if these simple measures fail.
Hi,
You are having a post nasal drip I suppose. This happens in chronic sinusitis.
Do you have any nasal allergy (like sneezing/ running nose/ nasal block)?
You can try taking mucolytics (like Bromhexine/Ambroxyl), instill saline nasal drops and do steam inhalations. Probably this would reduce most of your symptoms. Any more doubts you are welcome.
