I am hard of hearing. About 12 years ago I was recovering from an Inner ear virus and It took 5 years to recovering next thing I know I have soreness on my right sideburn (Soreness between my ear down to nearly my throat). I had visit an ears & throat specialist and he use video into this area and it's show redness. He order me this pills and it's not working at all. When I meet this doctor in China (for my vacation) she gave me what looks like some kind of anti-flamme (Sorry not sure of spelling) and it's works for 6 months! Now, In Canada I don't have any trust forward any doctor here and I don't know what else to turn to. Any suggest?
How do these docs get a license?
Ok your throat is inflamed, causeing swelling, causing the eustachean tube to close, causing Otitis Media to set in. Google Otitis Media.
You have got to adress the sore throat, get the swelling down, to allow the Eustachean tube to open up again.
Get a tympanogram done (test middle ear status) and I bet the results will show abnormal middle ear function, which means that the Eustachean tube is closed.
