I need some help for a condition I been dealing with for months and months..

I will tell you what i remember but I have had so many differant symtoms I cant even count them all.

First off I had a cough for 3 months, then i started feeling really weak tired went to doctor they said i had slightly high blood pressure and slight fever, and ear infection, took a round of zpack and steroid shot, then after that i never really got better, then i had alot alot of problems with my throat extreme drymouth for weeks, then bad sore throat for weeks, now everyday i wake up i have a weird feeling in my throat and difficulty swallowing went to ent he said he thinks it is heartburn related so i took prilosec otc for 5 weeks like he said and nothing better now i randomly get tightness in my neck like i got on a tight turtle neck, so i basically forced the ent to give me a ct scan so i called him and he said ct scan looks normal



so i went to his office and requested a copy of it

and it says

Findings:
the parotid and submandibular glands are normal. there are multiple subcentimeter lymph nodes within the neck bilaterally. the largest node is on the right and has a diameter of 9.5mm, no additional neck masses are demonstrated. the thyroid gland has a normal apperance. there is no laryngeal abnormality. mastoid air cells and the visualized sinuses are clear. normal vascular structures enhance, but there are no enhancing lesions.

mild bilateral cervical adenopathy.


i have no insurance i feel like they are just trying to get rid of me


im going crazy scared to death something serious is wrong my body has been going thru this for over 6 months


i can feel the node under my right ear it is not tender or enflamed

fells like a normal pea


ps been spitting up mucus everyday for months thick


anyone with any advice plz help

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your predicament. Infections like tuberculosis can cause lymphadenopathy. This can cause an evening rise of temperature and increased sweating. This also causes a loss of appetite; as such this is accompanied by weight loss. So, record your temperatures, on a two hourly basis to detect an evening rise of temperature. It would also be worthwhile to see if other lymph groups are enlarged namely, axilla and groin, these can be palpated, the others like those in the chest or abdomen may need a CT to detect their enlargement. Also correlate with blood counts, this could lead to further analysis. Sometimes a fine needle may not show much, but a whole node biopsy may pin point the cause. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

antibody results for hashimoto is normal

btw im at month 9 now and my neck is still tight,,, lymphnodes r still swollen, still have difficulty swallow,, had thyroid scan,,, and it was clear,, but doctor still wanted to do a antibody test,, so i am waiting for results from that...

thnx for help i just wanted to let you know that i dont have any infection i have had many cbc done and my body is not fighting a infection,,,

and as for a allergic reaction to my medicine i stopped taking all meds and it still here

btw only med i was taking was allergy and prilosec both otc's

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Lymph nodes enlarged more than 1 cm are considered to be significant. Lymph are protective mechanisms of the body and they 'trap' the infecting source causing enlargement of lymph nodes. The infection can be from the throat. Your symptoms could also be due to an allergic reaction. Maintain a diary and note down and monitor your symptoms. This may help to narrow down the search. Also, check to see if its a side effect of any medications you are taking.
