I know I need to see a gyno but I make appointments and something comes up and i am not able to go or end up canceling the appointment. I did not know that their was an endometriosis month either. Thanks for the concern and advice.

I didn't know that there was an endometriosis month, what a thing to celebrate.  Hopefully it comes with a lot of educational information!

Sounds like you need to see your gyn, and quick!  May be something that a simple D&C can take care of.

I found out I have endometriosis when I was 17 and the doctor went in and burned what they could. I was put on birth control and some kind of shot every month for 4 months. Well I had a baby at the age of 19 then got on the depo shot and never had a period for 3 years until I came off the shot. I had and IUD put in Feb of 2006 and my periods stopped again until Jan of 2007, then I started having very bad periods so bad that i have clots of blood coming out of me. At one time I went to the bathroom and when I pulled my pants down before I could sit on the toilet I had a clot of blood the size of the palm of my hand to fall out of me onto the floor. every time I stand up I have to go to the bathroom because I have clots of blood coming out of me and when my period is fixing to end the blood is black looking and smells like something has died not a fishy smell but like a dead animal. What might be wrong? Please someone help me.
