New Doc

I saw a new doctor yesterday and he kept saying things like "its a puzzle".  He's about 1000 years old, but I felt very calm and at ease with him.  He listened to what I said and then mentioned laproscopic hysterectomy as the best bet.  We settled on pain management for the next several months and then revisit the topic sometime in March.

Any thoughts on this plan of action?  I know my problems do not compare to some of the things I've read and I wonder about the hysterectomy, but apparently my cervex and vaginal walls are super sensitive and painful and he's thinking this will be the best bet.  I personally don't care, I'm not going to have kids but...

He gave me some Norco.  Hopefully this will take the edge off.

I am not a doctor however I am an advocate and endometriosis sufferer since I was 13. I am 36 now one child and still suffer.

One thing I have learned for sure is that a hysterectomy will not stop endometriosis from growing it can still grow back and you could end up a lot worse however that being said I will be having one hopefully soon. It's a personal choice and I have sat on the 50/50 fence for 5 yrs. I don't think it will make a difference at all since my bowels and bladder were badly damaged.

What pain management are you doing now? Meds? Physio?
