Its been 15 years since I had a total hysterectomy, but at that time
the Doctor told me that Hormones play a big factor in adhesions or returning polyps. I have been lucky, never took replacement
hormones and never had any return of the pain or adhesions...
Good luck

You can't.
The key to battling Endometriosis is excision surgery. The Endo needs to be cut out from the root even if that means digging deep and getting it all out. Doing this will make your chances of it coming back as bad very good and the adhesions wont be as bad if it is done this way. However is laser is done for most of the surgery you are going to end up with the Endo coming back, lots more scar tissue.
To deal with adhesions the best is to wait after surgery until it heals and start body rolling. You can see my journal about it of you can can google "Yamuna Body Rolling"
There is also a place called "Clear Passage Therapy" which helps break up scar tissue and combat Endo naturally. The body rolling is cheaper and has almost the same effect.
When was your last surgery? Was excision done? Where you put on anything to stop your periods from coming to reduce the pain?
