Good day,
Back in Feb 2021 I started feeling really nauseous accompanied by fatigue and slight flank pain on the left. got a covid test..negative. The symptoms went away after 2 days and then a week later came back just as light and then went away and then around Mar/Apr 2021 the symptoms got a little worse. Multiple blood panels ran all month all good. CT scan, MRI, Ultra Sound and Xray all good. These symptoms were off and on and then around June 2021 they hit hard and July 2021 even harder. 3 trips to the ER and more scans and blood work came up good. Colonoscopy in May 2021, nothing significant or dangerous as well as endoscopy. Pulmonary and cardio work also good to go. About 2 weeks ago I had enough, I got another opinion and my new doc sent me to get another CT Scan with contrast and bam..Enlarged Spleen. They did not know why. I thought it was something other than mono so I checked myself into the ER a few days ago and what do you know..Mono. My issue is I am scared to death of Chronic EBV. I have no way to gauge when the infection actually kicked in and how long I have had it. One scale has me at 6 months and another at around 2.5 months. I read on here many people who had r have had it for a year or more. At what point were you long haulers nervous and what are your docs saying. Mine laughed and said to rest up. WHAT THE!!! not like I just got it and can climb in bed and get rid of it. Google says EBV and Mono are the same damn thing so I am clueless. I feel alone in the dark. Thanks everyone in advance for your attention.
